Our sold out opening night was kicked off by the legendary guitarist Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene and Paul Weller's band), who came to Bath to play some of his hits in an intimate, acoustic setting. Support came from local hero Chris Greenhalgh.

About The Nightjar

The most ambitious live music night in the South West, The Nightjar, is coming to Bath in 2025.

A collaboration with Bath Pizza Co and the critically-acclaimed 7 Hills Festival, the Tuesday Music Night at Green Park Station aims to pair each week some of the finest award-winning musicians in the country with the most exciting, upcoming artists in the city.

And for students, Musicians Unions Members and those that can't afford it: it's free, (with a progressive and realistic "pay what you can, for those that can" ethos.)

The first 6 weeks are crammed with an embarrassment of riches: Legendary British guitarist Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene/ Paul Weller), Brit-Award winner and Godfather of Americana Ethan Johns, Artist of the Year Michele Stodart (The Magic Numbers), 2024 Blues Act of the Year Mississippi MacDonald, AMAUK Live Act of the Year Elles Bailey  and AMA-UK Artist of the Year Robert Vincent to name a few.

In light of the recent loss of local venues such as Moles, it’s more important than ever for us to have a welcoming creative space, where people can catch up with friends, connect over drinks and nurture live music in the city we live in.
— 7 Hills founder and ex-Noah and the Whale member Matt Owens
