Friday 28 June officially marked the start of summer for us with our Aperol Terrace launch.

50 free Aperol Spritz were snapped up inside 12 minutes as we welcome many friends of the show to soak up the terrace vibes and soak up the summer.

Thank you to Isobel Holly who played our front terrace adding to the summer ambience - perfect for watching the world go by while enjoying drinks and pizza.

Oh what a night! We sang, danced, slung a few pizzas and pulled a few pints. One thing we know for sure, is that Bath has huge appetite for a good time.

After a turbulent few years with building issues at Green Park Station we were buzzing to be back, welcoming Bath Festivals.

We do what we do as we love to create our space for the people of Bath and visitors to enjoy great food and drink in the company of those most important to them.

To see the place rocking after a fallow year was a delight. Special thanks go out to Rubix Groove who brought the house down playing into the warm evening and getting the crowd hopping.

We’re buzzing to be hosting Party in the City 2024 here at Bath Pizza Co in Green Park Station on Friday 17 May

Party in the City is one of our favourite nights of the year: a warm summers evening with incredible alfresco live music and dancing across Bath.

We’re buzzing to announce our new pizza special celebrating the reBalance Bath Festival of Wellbeing!  

Our live music hosted inside at Green Park Brasserie and menu are supporting the reBalance Bath festival of wellbeing for 2024 which launched for the first time last year.

Fresh Figs, Honey, Mozzarella, Caramelised Walnuts, Rocket, Thyme 

Our reBalance Bath pizza reflects the values of the festival and will be running as our special from 25th January to 18th February.

After many entries from the public we’re proud to reveal this new menu item.

Why this pizza?

We opened up the concept of a reBalance Bath themed pizza to the public and loved this entry as it brought together outstanding ingredients that work well as a collective on our award winning pizza dough.

The healthy attributes of the ingredients are aligned with the festival’s ethos and their flavours cut through, offering a unique combination that we think will be a huge hit!

The juicy fig flavour profile and honey on our dough with creamy mozzarella really stood out during out testing phase. The sweet caramelised walnut and peppery rocket adds a new layer to this pizza as well.

The Power of Live Music

Recent research suggest that music improves wellbeing and quality of life.

The Guardian published that a review of 26 studies finds benefits of music on mental health are similar to those of exercise and weight loss.

Our live music nights are part of the 2024 reBalance Bath programme of events.

More about the Pizza

Figs have graced our menu in the past and we’re pleased to welcome them back for the reBalance Bath Festival pizza.

In the Middle East and Mediterranean regions figs symbolised longevity and have been consumed since ancient times. They also provide fiber, antioxidants, and smaller amounts of vitamins and minerals. 

Additionally honey is rich in nutrients and antioxidants with antibacterial properties playing an important as part of a balanced diet. 

The reBalance pizza will be available throughout the festival from 25th January to 18th February 2024.

National Pizza Awards 2023

We’re back from the National Pizza Awards 2023

Life at the top table in the pizza world continues for Bath Pizza Co.

On 21 November, Bath Pizza Co head chef, Jonah competed with 15 other pizzaiolos at the National Pizza Awards in London.

The National Pizza Awards showcases the top spots serving up the finest pizzas in the country and was hosted at Big Penny Social, London with foodie legend, Nigel Barden MCing the event.

Our entry of our popular G.O.A.T Pizza (Mozzarella, Tomato, Caramlesied Red Onions, Goat’s Cheese, Crudo Ham and Maple Syrup) was selected from of thousands of entry to the awards, before competing as one of 16 finalists.

Competing in 3 cook off rounds there was sadly no silverware to speak of this time, but we are buzzing to be in the mix again and to catch up with old friends and make plenty of new ones.

We’re proud to be sponsoring local mixed ability rugby team, Walcot Warriors.

We’re delighted to announce a new partnership with local Mixed Ability Rugby (MAR) side, Walcot Warriors.

Walcot Warriors are a thriving Mixed Ability Rugby side in Bath, enabling opportunity in sport for those who are typically underrepresented in rugby. 

Originally established by Bath Rugby Foundation the team is now self-sustaining with over 40 members. 

We’re proud to be sponsoring training kit for the team and supporting the team fundraising towards a tour.

What is Mixed Ability Rugby?

If you happen to have some form of disability or barrier, but want to play rugby on a regular basis then Mixed Ability is perfect for you.

Mixed Ability rugby takes the same format as any other rugby team in a club. If you feel you don’t have enough experience, might not be good enough, are new to the game or just want to get back to playing for a bit of regular training and team bonding then a Mixed Ability team is perfect.

We’re passionate about our local community and projects that improve the lives of people in Bath and the surrounding area. We see our role as a business to do more than just the activity within our own premises. 

Community has been at the heart of our business from day one - whether through work with local arts or cultural organisations, community sports teams, fundraising for charities or supporting local groups with food.

Great Bath Feast 2023

The foodie festival whose origins started out across the city and here at Bath Pizza Co and Green Park Station is set for another big weekend, and we’re over the moon to see Bath back on the map for its culinary qualities.

The Great Bath Feast in association with The Bertinet Kitchen returns 22nd - 24th September 2023

The gastronomic festival celebrates the best food and drink in the South West, as well as taste-sensations from further afield and can be found running through Milsom Street.

2023’s Chef Theatre line-up features a host of Bath’s renowned and much-loved food personalities stars from Richard Bertinet, Masterchef Champion of Champions Ping Coombes, James Golding, Group Chef Director of The Pig Hotel and Michelin starred Chris Cleghorn and Garry and Dan Rosser from The Scallop Shell.

The Great Bath Feast also welcomes top chefs from further afield including the legendary Mark Hix and Gifford’s Circus Chef Ols Halas.

Bath Pizza Co launch a left-handed pizza for International Left-handers Day 2023

• Bath Pizza Co are launching a left handed pizza to celebrate International Left-handers Day

• The new concept has been designed to make Pizza easier to eat, hold and ultimately enjoy by left handed people

• The left handed pizza will be exclusively available at Bath Pizza Co from 13 August

Bath Pizza Co are launching a left handed pizza to celebrate International Left-handers Day.

The pizza has been especially engineered by the team to support the Left handed community who account for an estimated 10-12% of the UK population. 

Bath Pizza Co, Director, Alex Peters said: “We’re delighted to launch a new pizza designed to make life easier for our left handed customers.

“Having worked on this project with a small research group this summer we’re delighted to bring it to market for International Left-handed Day on 13th August.”

About the Pizza

The new concept has been designed to make Pizza easier to eat, hold and ultimately enjoy by left handed people.

The pizza is plated for the guest in a more left-handed friendly way.

With the main difference seeing the dough tweaked to make the crust’s performance enhanced for optimum left handed usage.

The concept it to create a more efficient “plate to mouth” experience for the customers. 

About the Day

According to the BBC, International Left-handers Day is a day to “celebrate left-handed people” and to “raise awareness of some of the experiences many of them face” in a world designed largely with right-handed people in mind.

Bath Festival 2023

It’s back!

Friday 12th May we’ll be partying with Bath Festivals in the house

LIVE MUSIC & DANCING | FOOD & DRINK | GOOD TIMES

We’re over the moon to confirm our involvement as one of the city’s lead venues for Party in the City this year.

Bath Festival’s Party in the City is one of our favourite days of the year, so lock Friday 12th May in your diary.

Expect dancing and great food and drink with some of Bath’s best bands taking over the Bath Pizza Co terrace.

The event is free and we will be hosting a fantastic line up with live music from 5.30pm. Please arrive early as we' expect to be very busy from 4pm onwards.

We’re back from London having competed in the 2022 National Pizza Awards landing 3rd place in the UK! 

The national event hosted 16 of the best pizza chefs in the country, having drawn up a shortlist from hundreds of pizza chefs up and down the UK. 

This was our 3rd time competing in the event in 6 years of business. Head Chef, Jonah represented Bath Pizza Co after being shortlisted with his famous Tiger Margherita which has become one of the most popular pizzas on our menu.

Bath Pizza Co have been selected alongside 15 other leading pizzerias across the UK to compete at the National Pizza Awards 2022.

We’re buzzing to be heading back to the National Pizza Awards again this year after placing 2nd at 2021’s event. And this time we’re gunning for silverware.

Head Chef Jonah Pole who came close last year will be back mixing it with the best following a successful entry with Bath Pizzas Co’s famous Tiger Margherita.

Later this month, the 16 finalists will compete in a series of challenges starting with cooking their signature pizza in front of several judges, before creating a technical pizza made up from a specific selection of ingredients that are supplied by the National Pizza Awards sponsors.

Judging is based on:

• How the base/pizza is made

• Flavour profile

• How well the pizza is cooked

• Aesthetic and presentation

• Texture, quality and consistency

• Choice and use of ingredients

We’re looking forward to the event later this month, meeting fellow pizza aficionados and the judges and sponsors.
